Death Slayer in Spelltroum

Overview

Death Slayer is a melee fighter that can be played as a carry, a support, or a crowd-control specialist. He combines Critical Chance, Lifesteal Aura, and stun control, making him extremely dangerous in direct fights when he gets close to enemies. Death Slayer can become very strong if he farms well, but he is harder for beginners because he is a melee hero. He needs good positioning, enough survivability, and the right timing to engage.

Playstyle

Death Slayer excels in prolonged close-range fights. His strength comes from surviving long enough to keep attacking and healing. Depending on how he is played, Death Slayer can become a Lifesteal carry, a durable support, a stun-focused controller, or a melee bruiser.

  • Get close to enemies
  • Use stuns to control fights
  • Heal through Lifesteal Aura
  • Support teammates with lifesteal
  • Scale into a strong late-game fighter

Abilities

Basic Attack

Basic Attack

Basic Attack

Passive. Death Slayer's basic attacks have additional Critical Chance. This makes his attacks more dangerous than they may seem, especially when combined with critical damage or lifesteal items. Because he is a melee hero, he needs to reach enemies before he can fully use this strength.

Stun

Stun

Active

Active Ability. Death Slayer releases stunning projectiles in all directions. Enemies hit by these projectiles take damage and become stunned for a short duration. This ability can be used to catch enemies, interrupt attacks, escape dangerous situations, protect allies, and start fights. A well-timed Stun can completely change the outcome of a fight.

Lifesteal Aura

Lifesteal Aura

Passive

Passive Aura. Death Slayer provides Lifesteal to himself and nearby allies. This aura allows affected heroes to restore Health when damaging enemy heroes or neutral creeps. Lifesteal does not work on bushes. Because Lifesteal effects stack, Death Slayer can become extremely difficult to kill when combined with Lifesteal items or heroes that benefit from sustained combat.

Super Spell

Super Spell

Super Spell

Last Stand. Unlocked when Death Slayer reaches Hero Power 9. Once unlocked, reaching Level 10 during a match grants Death Slayer a powerful survival mechanic. Whenever his Health falls below 25%, he automatically gains a protective shield that grants 100 Armor. This shield often prevents enemies from finishing him off when they think the fight is already won. The effect makes Death Slayer extremely dangerous in late-game fights, especially during extended duels.

He is playable for beginners, but harder than ranged heroes. Because he is melee, he needs better positioning and timing to avoid being kited or punished early.

Is Death Slayer a carry or a support?

He can be both. Death Slayer can be played as a Lifesteal carry, but his Lifesteal Aura also makes him useful as a supportive frontliner.

What is Death Slayer's biggest strength?

His sustain. With Lifesteal Aura and the right items, Death Slayer can survive long fights and recover a large amount of Health while attacking.

What is Death Slayer's biggest weakness?

His melee range. If enemies keep distance, harass him, or prevent him from farming, he can struggle to reach his full strength.

Which heroes work best with Death Slayer?

Freezi, Druid, Spirit Monger, and Spitfire all work well with Death Slayer because they benefit from his Lifesteal Aura or help him reach enemies.

Is Death Slayer strong in late game?

Yes. If Death Slayer farms well, he can become one of the strongest close-range fighters in Spelltroum.
