Infinity Shield
Overview
Infinity Shield is a Mystic item available from the beginning of the game. The item provides Health, Damage, Cooldown Reduction, and the ability to discover Shield Runes while destroying bushes. A Shield Rune grants a powerful defensive effect that significantly increases both Physical Armor and Magic Resistance for a short time. When activated at the right moment, it can completely change the outcome of a fight by allowing a hero to survive damage that would normally be lethal. Because of its combination of survivability, cooldown reduction, and utility, Infinity Shield is one of the most versatile defensive items in Spelltroum.

Why Use Infinity Shield?
Infinity Shield is designed for heroes that want additional durability without sacrificing utility. The first upgrade provides bonus Health, making heroes noticeably harder to kill during the early game. The second upgrade grants Damage, which helps many heroes destroy bushes in a single attack and farm more efficiently. The third and fourth upgrades unlock the Shield Rune effect and provide additional Cooldown Reduction, allowing heroes to use their abilities more frequently while also gaining access to powerful defensive runes. Unlike pure defensive items, Infinity Shield improves both survivability and ability usage.
Unique Effect
While destroying bushes, heroes have a chance to discover a Shield Rune. When activated, the Shield Rune grants +200 Physical Armor, +200 Magic Resistance, and greatly increased survivability for 5 seconds. This is one of the strongest defensive rune effects in the game. During those 5 seconds, heroes become extremely difficult to kill with physical and magical damage. The effect is powerful enough to completely change the outcome of a fight when activated at the right moment. Because the rune is stored until activated, players can save it for critical moments, such as surviving a burst combo, diving into a fight, or protecting themselves while escaping. However, Shield Rune does not protect against Pure Damage. Heroes that rely on Pure Damage can still deal significant damage even while the shield is active.
